MARKETING MANAGER FOR INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE
The opportunity:
Gold Coast Learning Centre (GCLC) is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our international college, promoting and selling our VET and ELICOS courses to students across the globe.
Reporting to the Campus Manager, this position will be located at our Orchid Avenue campus in Surfers Paradise. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by promoting our extensive range of programs and courses.
The role requires significant experience within the Education Sector, having worked for an RTO in Australia, with knowledge of relevant legislative requirements, and existing relationships with agents across multiple international markets.
Key responsibilities include:
Agent Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships with migration and education agents, provide agents with comprehensive info on our programs and courses. Ensure agents (onshore and offshore) are quality assured including contract management, develop incentive programs, maintain agent information, and train agents on GCLC training programs and courses.
Sales & Business Development - Implement promotional campaigns and strategies to recruit students and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Monitor and track student recruitment by course, country, and key recruitment channels including agents, partners, and direct applications. Seek feedback from agents and other channels to inform training product development and obtain course feedback.
Student Advisory - Proactively reach out to potential students via various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media; provide detailed info on programs and courses, entry requirements and financial options.
Marketing – Contribute to and recommend the development of marketing assets to support student recruitment, including the GCLC website, brochures, price lists in collaboration with the marketing team. Represent GCLC at recruitment events and exhibitions as required.
Administration - Utilise CRM systems and other tools to manage leads, monitor sales, generate reports; respond to client inquiries, assist applicants, and provide status updates. Work closely with the admissions team to process applications in a timely manner.
Experience Required:
This position requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team spirit and positive attitude.
- Experience working for an RTO or Education Provider is essential
- Ideally, hold at least 5 years sales and business development experience
- Positive attitude and ability to prioritise work with competing priorities
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to our diverse learner’s community
- Strong cross-functional thinker and excellent time management skills with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM / sales software or similar.
