Marketing Operations Manager - Smart

The Role

AFG’s Marketing-as-a-Service program, SMART is the marketing engine that helps our Brokers attract customers and grow their business. To help us drive the growth and development of our platform, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to join our team. 

Serving as an in-house marketing agency for almost 1,500 of our broker businesses, this role will see you being responsible for: 

• Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of the SMART program, including:
  • Being accountable for the delivery of special projects and new program initiatives.  
  • Working with key stakeholders to maintain effective management of key technical platforms and data sources associated with SMART.  
• Setting the strategy for campaign, promotion, and tactics to grow SMART subscribers, including: 
  • Ensuring annual SMART acquisition and retention targets are met.  
  • Producing regular reporting.  
• Proactively driving new initiatives to continually improve the program and develop the platform, including (but not limited to):  
  • Implementing and embedding a new CRM platform for SMART.  
  • Identifying new opportunities and partnerships for revenue growth.  
  • Identifying new customer segments for targeting.  
  • Integrating the existing AFG SMART marketing program with new businesses within the AFG group.  
• Coordination of the SMART marketing team’s workflow to ensure successful SMART program delivery.  

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated senior marketing professional, with outstanding communication skills and an ability to collaborate with many layers of the organisation.  

You will also have: 

• Experience in B2B and/or SaaS marketing (highly desirable).  
• Demonstrated experience working with and implementing Marketing Automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua etc)  
• Strong understanding of the development of campaign strategies to support acquisition, retention, and advocacy targets.   
• Experience in delivering data driven campaign work, defining key marketing metrics to optimise opportunity modelling, and resulting conversion rates.  
• Up to date knowledge of marketing processes, trends and digital platforms including Google Analytics & Google Ads, and 
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
