And now, as we continue to champion our products and expand our reach, we're actively seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media & Marketing Officer.
 
So, what's the role?
 
The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator's key responsibility is to craft, coordinate, and execute marketing and Social Media campaigns and content that make a memorable impact, much like our products do. Collaborating closely with the General Manager and our In-House Graphic Designer, you'll spearhead the implementation of our annual marketing calendar while ensuring our messaging and brand identity maintain a seamless presence across all digital platforms, including Social Media, EDMs, and our website. In this role, your tasks will include:
 

• Managing website content
• Designing print media ads and POS signage
• Crafting compelling copy for newsletters, EDMs, and Social Media
• Nurturing and expanding our Social Media presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and beyond
• Crafting and executing digital campaigns with a keen eye on analytics
• Creating and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels, both digital and traditional
• Organising media distribution for consumers, retailers, and Social Media
• Coordinating trade fair displays and providing sales support
• Assisting with new product launches
• Managing and optimising digital marketing channels
• Crafting engaging website content, including homepage layouts and banners
• Developing and implementing a Social Media strategy in line with business goals
• Assisting in website maintenance and content development
• Collaborating with internal department specialists on promotional campaigns and launches
• Regularly reporting on content and channel effectiveness, seeking ways to optimise our strategies
• Engaging with our community, answering comments, and fostering participation in social communities
• Creating copy for local and state media channels, EDM campaigns, and website content

Here's what we're ideally looking for in our future Social Media & Marketing Officer:
 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing or Social Media work.
• Strong marketing and copywriting skills, plus a deep understanding of digital media channels, including Google and Social Media platforms.
• The ability to create, track, measure, and report on digital marketing campaigns.
• Understanding of Ad design and a background crafting ads
• Previous experience managing Social Media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• A creative touch for crafting engaging EDM campaigns, including familiarity with tools like mailchimp.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
• Graphic design skills, particularly for creating visually appealing emails and Social Media posts using tools such as InDesign and Canva.
• Basic video editing and content creation abilities.
• Independence and a strong drive for success, with a proactive approach to your work.
• An appreciation for working in a distinctive, art gallery-like setting.

Other key information? 
 
This is a full -time role, 38 hours per week on site at McLaren Flat.
