We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team based in Sydney, and play an integral role in the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive growth and build brand awareness in the Australian market.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns including but not limited to presentations, social media, print, mailing and multi-media advertisements.
- Maintain detailed records of campaign performance, budget allocation, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with retail managers and store managers to ensure marketing activities align with overall company objectives.
- Manage company website and social media platforms ensuring they reflect our brand identity.
- Create compelling marketing materials tailored to engage diverse audiences across multiple channels.
- Manage all supporting logistics for company events, including printing, promotional items, supporting materials.
- Assist in quality control of all marketing collateral.
- Assist with tradeshows, conferences and company events
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or event management
- Homeware or furniture sales & marketing experience is highly desirable
- Strong research skills to understand evolving trends within the market
- Have the desire to gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product offerings to develop relevant marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, telemarketing, and content management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with ability to work independently and autonomously
- Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup and willing to do more than expected
