We are a growing bakery and café in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs and a supplier of the major supermarket chains in Australia. We specialize in kosher and French baked goods – from various sweet treats to delicious sourdough and challahs. Due to continued and sustainable growth across Australia, we are seeking a marketing and communication professional to help us grow and expand our business.
We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on marketer with proven experience in delivering marketing strategies and brand campaigns that create tangible results, support business growth, and engage the community.
Key Responsibilities:
The position's key responsibilities will include:
- Creating a holistic marketing strategy over various touchpoints and advising on the entire marketing mix: product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence.
- Creating new branding guidelines and developing impactful promotional materials to support branding strategies, including blogs, brochures, flyers, and other suitable marketing materials.
- Developing and executing digital marketing and advertising campaigns across appropriate platforms with strong focus on social media, including content creation, scheduling, and community management, to increase brand visibility, mentions, engagement and support product launches.
- Creating content for social media channels, including copywriting, photo and video content, and graphics.
- Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance to evaluate effectiveness and report progress.
- Setting up website for bakery and developing suitable monitoring and tracking reports.
- Analyzing and predicting current and future consumer trends and conducting market research to identify market opportunities for new and existing goods.
- Identifying new target markets and creating suitable marketing materials.
- Planning, coordinating, and executing events, for example product tasting to create awareness in new markets and establish brand in existing markets.
- Preparing marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications (preferably bachelor’s degree).
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing and communications.
- Data analysis and MS Excel proficiency.
- Experience in website development and social media marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
- Positive attitude, ability to take feedback and work on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work autonomously without much guidance in a newly created role with lots of possibilities and opportunities to make the role your own.
