Marketing Support
The Marketing Intern will work alongside the Marketing Manager to ensure that all marketing activities are carried out effectively following the regional marketing plan
Event Management
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting on the execution of the annual events calendar for the United States which may include trade shows and customer events. This involves creating invitations and landing pages, promotion through email and social media, and working with third party venues and suppliers.
Customer Advocacy/Internal Communications
A further responsibility of the Marketing Intern is to work alongside the local marketing and comms teams to help create content to support the customer advocacy program of work such as videos, collateral creation, interviews, and blogs.
Incentives/collateral
The Marketing Intern will organize and coordinate the marketing collateral and incentive (give-away) program for the US.
Campaign Management/ Lead Generation
The Marketing Intern will help with the delivery and management of online and offline marketing campaigns for the Americas and with work with the American marketing Manager to ensure that all leads are followed up promptly.
Intern Requirements:
- It is essential to have a recognized marketing qualification, or in the process of obtaining one, and a passion for the marketing discipline.
- Must have a demonstrable events management experience.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the sales process/ buying decisions. - Ability to expertly use MS Office applications - Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc, and most common desktop applications.
- It is desirable to have demonstrable experience in conducting successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience in a Marketing or Telco / IT Services role.
- Knowledge and interest in B2B and technology marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range:
$25/hour + $100/month mass transit commuter subsidy.
