Job Description:Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Client Services Team, where we provide an efficient service and query resolution for all exchange traded derivative and Over-the-counter (OTC) products to both internal and external clients of J.P. Morgan.As a Client Service Analyst in Market Operations, you will be the primary point of contact for all clients queries, margin movements and account processing issues. You will support clients through the lifecycle of all trades, including settlements, exercise/assignment activities and physical deliveries. You will focus on derivative products, including Fixed Income Securities, Equities, Foreign Exchange (FX) & Oil, Gas, Metals, Metals and Agricultural.Job responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with all clients and offering an optimum client experience across all product groups;
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the product and the exchange rules covered by the team and is aware of the functions of the whole team
  • Serve as a point of contact for the group from client relationship point of view
  • Escalate all trade and position breaks in a timely basis and ensure the appropriate escalation procedures when issues are raised
  • Review and check production output from a control aspect
  • Review processes regularly and where possible make suggestions for greater efficiency
  • Keep all procedures up to date and easily accessible
  • Participate in and contribute to User Acceptance Test, global projects and initiatives, and support any ad hoc requests of the team in an appropriate manner
  • Communicate to clients and internal stakeholders are always clear and concise
  • Post the margins required by exchanges, using cash or securities in ways most convenient to the client ; and
  • Provide operational information about client's transactions in flexible and responsive electronic or paper formats.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Prior relevant experienced with knowledge in Market and product
  • Prior experience with OTC products
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately, whilst remaining focused on 'the big picture'
  • Excellent client focus and customer care working practices
  • Maintain a flexible attitude towards working hours due to the demands of the working place
  • Strong intellectual curiosity for process improvements
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure
  • Strong time management skills required to meet the many internal and external deadlines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Knowledge of Market and products in the North American and European markets would be advantageous
  • Prior experience across the rates, FX or Credit Default Swaps (CDS) businesses would be beneficial
