We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Solution Engineer and Inspiring Leader specializing in Health Insurance. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in health insurance and a consistent record to apply their expertise to tailor solution architectures, particularly applying Oracle Health Insurance software. This role requires critical thinking, problem-solving acumen, and a capacity to chip in as a senior inspiring leader within our organization.
Requirements:
- This person must have a minimum of 6 years health insurance experience. Favourable responses will be given to candidates that have deep industry knowledge of the Healthcare Payer market. With this experience, an assessment will be made whether the candidate can accommodate the technology skills required to be successfully trained on OHI.
- Strong technology skills can be validated to ensure that the capacity to build the technical demonstrations that are required can be built out to the standards that are currently part of the OHI solution set. This includes the capability to do configuration in OHI (an assessment for the willingness and capability may be done to check the candidate).
- Gathering requirements and modelling business processes and scenarios. Configuration of sophisticated ERP/CRM applications. Training Presales and Implementation resources on the sales enablement processes and scenarios.
- Strong industry knowledge of the broader health insurance market and vendor landscape, but with specific focus on the Australia market, and as a bonus understanding of any health payer market.
- Strong demonstrable ability to build the value proposition and solution documents, and in some cases, the business case for change.
- Relationship management experience with Corporate Customers, either in a presales or delivery role (eg as a Consultant or Project Manager)
- Strong analytical skills & ability to understand and collect business requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills.
- Available to travel and be mobile across Australia and JAPAC from time to time (travel between 25 to 50%)
- Must be proficient in English and additional languages, a plus.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN 2.0) or equivalent. Domain Modelling/ER modelling. UML Class, sequence, and state diagrams.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area, but it is not mandatory.
- Java or Groovy coding is a key requirement, and the candidate may be tested to resolve current level of skill.

Responsibilities:
- Understand client business needs and requirements by working directly with the Oracle Insurance sales division across the Australia and JAPAC.
- Utilize your deep understanding of health insurance, to demonstrate value to prospective clients. Favourable adjudication will be given to candidates that can offer deep knowledge of the Health Insurance Payer sector.
- Conduct solution gap analysis, in collaboration with Oracle Consulting, to resolve requirements to deploy OHI solution at customers.
- Conduct client demonstrations (both webcast and live) tailored to meet new and ongoing sales related activity.
- Respond to RFP/RFI (Request for proposal/information) for Oracle Health Insurance
- Support the sales group in terms of positioning our products and services to displace competitors during the sales process.
- Prepare requirement and functional specifications to support client engagements and do a product gap assessment of the solution.
- Influence product development based on prospect interactions, market trends, local country requirements.
- Communicate product information, changes, and direction to sales managers.
- Understand current business / industry environment including relevant regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
