- Comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with Wabtec policy and procedures.
- Coordinate material movements for service jobs, manufacturing, and spares orders to maintain production workflow and meet customer delivery requirements. 3. Open, maintain and closure of manufacturing work orders.
- Raising RFQ’s, requisitions and online orders for consumables and 3rd party works.
- Capture and prepare relevant information to maintain registers and reports.
- Escalate material issues such as damage, quality, shortages, delays.
- Coordinate stock takes and cycle counts.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers for material requirements.
- Contribute with continuous improvement, lean and 5S initiatives.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customer contacts.
- Resolve issues and negotiate favourable outcomes in a professional manner.
- Ensure the working environment is always maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Take ownership of responsibilities and actively contribute towards the achievement of business performance goals, delivery timeframes and customer satisfaction.
- Willing to work outside or beyond normal hours to support business requirements.
- Domestic or International travel may be required.
- Perform other related duties as required to support business requirements.
- Three years or more related experience within a manufacturing or services environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective organizational, time management, multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
- Current Driver’s license.
- Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- Currently Hold/Willing to obtain - First Aid, Fire Warden.
