Form of workDitton Bulk Haulage is a family owned & operated bulk haulage company based in Heatherbrae NSW & Rockhampton QLD.
We currently have opportunity for multiple professional MC Driver’s to join our team who will be responsible for the safe and timely loading & delivery of Dangerous Goods (SSAN) in the Rockhampton and Bowen basin area due to growth in our business.
Ideally applicants will be based in or around Newcastle, Sydney or Brisbane for FIFO .
Rockhampton based drivers are also welcome to apply.
The role:
- Towing an A-Double or Road train Flat top &/or Tippers
- Loading, unloading & strapping loads where required and other transport duties as directed.
- Following all OH&S regulations, furthering safety culture and following all procedures.
- Conducting changeovers with other operators.
- Liaising with all co-workers & customers, with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Manage fatigue and perform logbook duties.
- Hold a high regard for Health & Safety of yourself and others.
- Complete all paperwork to a high standard.
- Take pride in your equipment.
Applicants must possess:
- Experience operating B-Double’s &/or A-Doubles
- Provide 5 years driving history
- Provide Commercial Vehicle Drivers Medical
- Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol check
- Hold a Dangerous Goods License
- Willing to undertake or currently hold a Queensland Explosives Security Clearance for SSAN
- Willing to undertake or hold an Explosives Drivers Licence for Class 5.1
- Well presented, courteous and diligent at all times.
- Good can-do attitude and willingness to learn
