Job Opportunity – 

One of the long-term employees has resigned in Melbourne Victoria and leaves behind over 18 years of major relationships, key accounts and a wealth of contacts and market knowledge. Your Job will be to pick up from where he left off and follow on his legacy in this booming construction attachment market. You will need to start getting to customers and rebuilding the trust that you are going to be here for the next 10 years. There is No doubt that this is not going to be easy and you will be tested from many of the customers on your dedication and technical commercial understanding of the equipment.

The Management team would like you to put your own spin on the role and look to rebuild your own networks and start to developing new customers within Victoria and Tasmania. Again, we are looking for a proven Sales professional that has his own relationships with customers but also has a high technical level of earthmoving attachment exp.  Sales is the biggest key part; you will be involved in the tender process and cover small parts of the operation. You will be working with the aftermarket team and providing customers service support to existing projects and customers. 

Here is a list of the products that you will be required to sell – 

  • Hydraulic Hammers 
  • Crusher Buckets 
  • Pulverizers
  • Shearers 
  • Grapples
  • Wheel Cutters
  • Rock Saws 

You will be targeting Local Mine sites, Quarries, Civil Customers, demolition, Construction and Scarp Metal recycling plants. This role is a full-time role Monday to Friday. There will be weekend trade shows throughout the year which you will be expected to be at and You will also be flown to training days and staff social events nationally. 

Candidate Requirements – 

  • 3 + Years in Selling Earthmoving attachments or Earthmoving Equipment. 
  • Strong Hydraulics experience.
  • Key relationship in one or all markets - Local Mine sites, Quarries, Civil Customers, demolition, Construction and Scarp Metal recycling plants.
  • Willingness to travel. 
  • Upbeat and highly motivated to secure new Business Development
  • Friendly nature with a winning attitude. 

Salary Package – 

The previous BDM that held the role for 8 years he was earning over $93,000 just in commissions, I have spoken to the other BDM in the country and if you’re on top of your game you can earn anything close to $80,000 to $110,000. This is massive and to be apart of a company that is key market leader not only do you have the history but also the products to make this role a true success. 

  • Base Salary - $100,000
  • Company – 4WD
  • Superannuation – 11%
  • Uncapped Commissions 
  • Phone & Laptop
  • Company Uniform
  • Product training 
  • Staff days, trade shows and Interstate travel
