We are seeking highly motivated and safety-focused MC drivers for our Mining Services operation based in Emerald to move general freight to mine site locations as well as operate daily return shuttle services (on rotation) between Emerald and Rockhampton. We are particularly interested in MC drivers who have experience with mixed general freight to drive our new and well-maintained fleet of Volvo FH XXL prime movers fitted with the latest technology. You will work Monday – Friday with varying start times from 4.30 am onwards. Key areas: Participate in and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR requirements Safely operate B Doubles, B Triples, and double road trains in both flat top and tautliner combinations delivering mixed mining freight to customer mine sites in the southern Bowen Basin Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers at our Emerald terminal Securely restrain mixed general freight loads using dogs and chains, straps, binders, and appropriate dunnage Providing excellent customer service while representing Linfox in a professional manner Are you the one? You are an experienced and conscientious operator who takes pride in your excellent driving record and safe work history.
