The Procurement Administrator will be tasked with facilitation of the supply of critical goods and services. This will be in accordance with corporate processes and the objectives of current projects within Australia and New Zealand.
As Procurement Administrator, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Monitor the procurement functional mailbox and contact key stakeholders to action or support;
- Ensure new supplier documentation is correctly completed by the supplier and uploaded to enable the timely purchasing of goods and services;
- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests;
- Support senior members of the team with analysis and other relevant support for major tendering activities;
- To review requisition orders on a daily basis to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications;
- Convert Purchase Requisition to Purchase Orders in S4, in Concur and SAP;
- Run reports on Purchase Requisition and Purchase Orders status in all systems; and
- Manage the Purchase Requisition Folder in SharePoint to ensure approvals are progressing and expedite requisitions when required.
About your new team
In this role you will be reporting directly to one of the Procurement Managers. Each category has a mix of coordinators, graduates, specialists and project specialists; who provide support at all levels within our organisation. This role will be based at our Military Vehicle Excellence in Redbank.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- A qualification (or working towards) in Procurement or a related field;
- A ground level knowledge of purchasing / procurement practices and procedures;
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- Proficient in general administration and data entry;
- High level organisational and prioritising skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Maintains confidentiality at all times;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels within the organisation;
- Ability to work without close supervision;
- Customer satisfaction focus and proactive problem solving ability; and
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (must hold Australian Citizenship).
