Great opportunity to join a successful Fluid power technology business in the Brookvale area, this well-established company has a strong stable history in Hydraulic Controls and requires a Hydraulic Design Engineer.

This position will involve various tasks. We need a mechanical Design Engineer with either trade or engineering qualifications that can draw hydraulic schematics and designs.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) responsible for designing hydraulic systems and schematics, project managing, using solid works and good understanding of hydraulic systems.

You will have fluid power engineering experience such as mobile hydraulics, industrial hydraulics and have the ability to draw and read hydraulic schematics.

This is an exciting position where you will join a company with over 50 years experience in fluid power that designs and manufacture in their high tech precision machine shop. We need someone that at times may not mind getting their hands dirty and has a passion for hydraulics.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade or engineering qualifications
• Solidworks skills
• Hydraulics experience
• Ability read and draw schematics
• MDTools and Hydraw CAD experience highly regarded.
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
