What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will be integral in providing engineering support in our purpose-built workshop to manufacture and assemble mining machine components. You will have extensive experience in mining and/or HME industry.
About the Role:
- Support engineering design with the creation and release of 3D models, drawings, and bill of materials.?
- Assist in the conduct of internal QMS Audits.?
- Prepare drawings to budgeted hours and timeframes.?
- Work with clients to assure all drawings, designs and expectations are met.?
- Review, analyse and eliminate failure modes within designed products?
- Assist in re-engineering programs.?
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, product development and design tools.
- Lead the engineering phase of projects to ensure deliverables are completed on time, on budget, to the scope, at the right quality.
- Assist in future manufacturing capabilities, such as 3D printing?
- Assist in the development and management of an Engineering team within Valenhold.
