Mechanical Engineer And Engineering Technologist

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 - 20 years’ of work experience with at least 10 years being assigned as company representative managing engineering services at international location.
• Seconded to customer location as consultant to inspect their asset and lead budget development, purchase request, procurement support to repair and maintain their asset for seamless operation.
• Lead FEA and CFD services for API 6A and 6D systems such as pipeline, pressure vessel, wellhead and gate valve.
• Managed system engineering and participated in commissioning and start-up operation at customer location, preferably start-up of processing platform such as topside or FPSO platform and mining new plant commissioning.
• Track record as single contact point to review/approve specification, drawing and 043-E-13235 design calculations of mechanical packages such as pressure vessel, fuel gas skid etc.
• Ability to identify potential challenges during design review and apply engineering process/procedures to allow customer to face calculated risks.
• Strong commercial, contractual and business awareness.
• Excellent organisational abilities to lead and mentor junior engineers either by face to face or remotely to deliver engineering activities as per plan and schedule.
• Work location to be Newman residential role.
