Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Undertaking or completion of a Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Ability to assist in organising projects and activities.
- Client liaison and customer service skills Excellent communication, organisational, and people skills A results-driven collaborator with a positive and initiative-taking attitude A focus on exceeding customer expectations.
- System-orientated person with advanced computer skills Ability to read and create drawings, reports, engineering documents, and specifications.
- Administrative capability to coordinate Quality, OHS&E, and other company documentation.
- Administrative capability to coordinate cost control, pricing, and scheduling. A Day in the Life Complete tasks that are assigned to you by project team members. Assist with cost management including preparation of quotes, progress claims, variations, and project budget control.
- Coordinate construction processes including construction personnel and activities on site as well as manufacturing processes in the workshop.
- Organising orders, deliveries, contractors, and workers to meet project or client schedules, safety, and quality specifications.
- Assist project teams to report on work progress and budget matters to clients. Assist project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time according to deadlines and requirements.
- Assist project teams to select and instruct labour and subcontractors.
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Assist project teams in preparing tender bid submissions and estimates for projects.
- Compliance with contract terms and conditions for projects.
- Follow and assist in implementing Quality, Safety, and Environmental Systems.
