SalaryRMEM Engineering is a large Electrical and Mechanical workshop in W.A. We have major contracts with Mining companies for repairs of their Electrical and Mechanical assets. We are now seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 2.- 3 years' experience to join the team at RMEM. The minimal annual pay is $ 70,000 + super + other benefits. It is expected that the candidate has the right to work in Australia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Mechanical Manager, key areas of responsibility include, but not limited to :
- Quoting for the Repair and Refurbishment of Rotating Mechanical Equipment - especially pulleys and Gearboxes.
- Assist with assessment on the repairs of Mechanical Equipment.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and qualify the nature of repairs to be carried out.
- Assist with MDR's where required.
- Determining possible issues and plan their remedial measures.
- Ability to use drawing software to assist with Mechanical equipment repairs.
- Revision of drawings where required.
CAPABILITIES
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years Mechanical Engineering experience.
It is expected that the candidate is diligent and conscientious. You must have an attention for detail and be willing to learn. You must be adaptable to changing priorities and be aware of client requirements and delivery dates.
