The ability to earn money while learning a trade Obtain a Nationally recognised qualification Mentoring from experienced industry professionals Duties may include: Operate and adjust production machines Run diagnostic checks, and troubleshoot to identify problems in production Design new components and systems using CAD/CAM systems Repair machines and build components in repair of facilities Use programs to monitor machine processes and performance Perform changeovers/setups, preventative maintenance, and fault finding Examine and evaluate specifications for the requirements for a task Operate and adjust machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools and welding equipment Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies About You: Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia Completion of Year 10 High School Drivers Licence desirable but not essential Willing to undertake police check and pre employment medical if required About Us: Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation that partner with Australia's best companies, producing powerful outcomes for apprentices and trainees.
