ConsultANZ is seeking Mechanical Engineering Technicians for a client to work on diverse projects in NSW in an onsite capacity.

Main ResponsibilitiesYou Will Be Responsible To

• Carry out maintenance repairs and modifications on machinery, and equipment.
• Perform regular tests, inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery and collect test data for analysis.
• Prepare mechanical diagnostic reports; provide feedback to relevant work units.
• Coordinate and supervise the inspection and maintenance of machinery being carried out by external contractors.
• Install, replace, or repair major equipment components, mechanical assemblies, and hydraulic control systems.
• Maintain and update records of work performed on machinery and equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and identify appropriate tooling and techniques to implement modifications or repairs.
• Maintain high standards of practice and awareness in relation to Quality Assurance and safety management.
• Order and collect mechanical parts, equipment and tools.
• Train other staff members on correct operating procedures to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
• Onsite callout and breakdown problem solving, troubleshooting and repairs.

RequirementsThe Successful Candidate Will Bring Into The Role

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Leadership / Supervisory experience.
