A-FLO Equipment are the market leaders and renowned for providing quality turnkey Lubrication/Workshop fit outs, Lubrication and Refueling equipment and associated services to the Petroleum, Oil, and Heavy Industries. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our rapidly growing team in Hoppers Crossing.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the dedicated Mechanical Fitter will become a valuable member of our workshop team as we continue to be market leaders in the Oil & Fuel Industry.

• Mounting of Pumps, Meters, Hose Reels on Storage Tanks and Equipment
• Hydraulic Hose fitting and installation
• Assembling pump packages
• Installing pipework and fittings in diesel and AdBlue tanks
• Use hand and power tools

This opportunity is an immediate start, full time position.

Hours 7.00am - 3.30pm + overtime.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have/are:

• Ability to diagnose and repair faults
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
• Exceptional problem solving skills and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Can work unsupervised &/or part of a team
• Experience with variety of hand tools
• Previous assembly experience (mechanical)
• Punctual
• Put a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Fast learner
• Are committed to safe workplace practices
• Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks
• Bring a positive, "can do" attitude to the workplace every day
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license
