Mechanical Fitters - Underground Coal Development Equipment

The construction of a brand-new, purpose-built workshop for major mining equipment projects is open at Alfabs in Kurri Kurri, NSW! The workshop, complete with cranage and new management is here and we are looking for Mechanical Fitters interested in joining Alfabs on this next adventure!

Alfabs Mining is based in Kurri Kurri, 15 minutes straight through from Cameron Park or 30 minutes to Raymond Terrace, Singleton or Warners Bay. Not only can you significantly reduce your drive time, we are big enough to make sure you work on interesting projects including Waracars, OnTrack Feeder Breakers and Joy Global Continuous Miners.

We are looking for experienced Underground Coal Development Equipment fitters to join our new workshop based at Kurri Kurri! With a pipeline of projects to keep you busy, we are seeking experienced individuals to help boost our new workshop.

What do we need from you?

Number one: you have to be safety-conscious. While we are looking out for your safety, you need to help look out for the safety of those around you.

And all the usuals: relevant trade qualifications, recent experience working on underground mining equipment, car licence and the ability to pass drug and alcohol testing for pre-employment and throughout your employment.
