The role
The Mechanical Rotating Engineering Lead is responsible for ensuring the availability and optimum operation of rotating equipment assets. You will be responsible for leading a team of Rotating Engineers and VA technicians, creating work procedures, developing inspection and test plans for turbo machinery and rotating equipment, managing rotating equipment overhauls, signing off on inspection and test plans, providing advice as the Subject Matter Expert, ensuring compliance, leading condition monitoring programs, conducting RCA and offering solutions.
Selection criteria
To ensure success you will require a degree in mechanical engineering and be a full member of Engineers Australia. You will also require substantial experience working as a rotating equipment engineer in a similar environment (fertiliser, petrochemical, gas processing or oil). Your excellent interpersonal, communication, project management and leadership skills will see you thrive.
