We’re currently recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on site in Darwin to support our upcoming shutdowns in 2024.

• Ensure mechanical activities are completed safely and meet the schedule, respecting the critical path and deadlines.
• Allocate work and provide direction to relevant trades specific work requirements. 
• Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports; ensure that site workers have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks. 
• Communicate with client representatives on a day to day basis, to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required. 
• Identify and drive cost savings and safety improvement initiatives and report on lessons learned and completion/outcomes to the business.

• Mechanical trade qualification
• Proven experience within the Energy or refinery industries, preferably in an offshore environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
