Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting of machinery to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
- Documenting maintenance and repair activities accurately for record-keeping and future reference.
- Assembling & installing new modified mechanical components, machine tools & controls, and hydraulic systems.
- Material cost and quality estimation.
- Examine tools and machine components and select them.
- Perform machine tests and analysing the results and adjust drawings to meet the organization’s requirements.
- Perform equipment installation and commissioning and the documentation requirement within a quality system.
- Ensures that designs and finished work are within the specification and regulations of the organisation.
- The responsibility of working in a safe manner and always following all safety policies and procedures on-site.
About you:
- A relevant trade qualification or certification in mechanical engineering, mechanical fitting, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and have the ability to interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- You demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in your work.
- Effective communicate and coordinate with colleagues across different departments.
- You have a mindset for continuous improvement, always seeking opportunities to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the team and the organization.
