Lucent Globe is driving innovation with environmentally friendly cleaning products which are biodegradable, plant based, and free of plastic packaging.
Lucent Globe was founded by Brodie and Roger Cook, twins from the Gold Coast. They came up with the idea when travelling the world and seeing the concerning amount of pollution. The company is relatively new, being around 2 years old, but they have produced exponential growth doing approximately over 4,000 orders per week and about to enter the US market. They are currently working with scientists to bring some more products to market.

The ideal candidate will come from a startup or scale-up background. Getting in relatively early on a startup that is experiencing significant can be a very rewarding and demanding career move. The Media Buyer is responsible for driving growth and conversion through various platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Google. An analytical thought process is important, being able to make important decisions based off data, navigating efficiently and effectively to produce the best results for Lucent Globe.
About You:
- You are a high-performing individual with strong attention to detail
- You are self-driven and organised
- Adaptable as this is a fast moving startup
- A great team player that can work autonomously and well within the team
- Develop comprehensive advertising strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives and target audience demographics.
- Research and identify suitable advertising channels and platforms based on target audience behaviour and industry trends for effective media planning.
- Set and manage advertising budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation for maximum return on investment.
- Negotiate and secure favourable advertising placements, rates, and terms with media vendors and platforms through media buying efforts.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with the target audience.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimise future campaigns through data analysis.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising technologies through market research to maintain a competitive edge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, and advertising platforms to enhance vendor relationships.
- Ensure all advertising materials comply with industry regulations and guidelines for ad compliance.
- Proven experience managing and growing monthly budgets over $1M
- Ability to interpret data and make fundamentally sound decisions off of this
- Strong organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
