AddressSunnyside Lutheran Retirement Village is in the heart of the Wimmera. Horsham's Rural City is approximately 350kms West of Melbourne and close to Mount Arapiles. Consisting of a 76-bed aging in place Residential Facility and a further 79 Independent Living Units, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manger to join our team.
What is this role about?
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be accountable for the management of a diverse people business ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our residents and colleagues in a warm and friendly community.
- You will be someone who can hit the ground running
- Has the experience and ability to manage a range of functions including Facilities & Maintenance, Catering and Housekeeping, Project and Risk Management
- Strong OHS and compliance background
- Proven capacity to build strong teams
- Effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
- Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar senior management role
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, performance measures, and business acumen
- Analytical mind with the ability to solve problems creatively
- Deep knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices
- Passion for driving and exceeding expectations.
- Ability to manage a broad portfolio
