EVENT SALES MANAGER
Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne is part of Amora Hotels & Resorts Group with properties in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Thailand. We are a 111 accommodation room Boutique 4.5 star Hotel located on the banks of the Yarra River in Richmond. In 2020 the hotel completed a $5 Million dollar refurbishment of the ground floor. The hotel has a number of versatile conference rooms including the Event Pavilion.
We are seeking a professional Event Sales Manager with good attention to detail, able to manage a small team and deliver successful events at the hotel.
The successful applicant will work closely with the other department managers reporting to the Director of Sales.
Take a proactive approach to all sales opportunities.
Build relationships with all clients including PCO's.
Assist with any event enquiries and complete the necessary quotes efficiently and professionally.
Conduct client site inspections when required. You may also be required to work trade shows and wedding expos.
Complete Event Orders and distribute to the various hotel outlets.
Check, follow up & approve payments of events.
Prior use of the Delphi Sales & Catering System & Opera Cloud PMS is an advantage but not essential.
You need to;
Have excellent written & verbal communication skills with good attention to detail.
Be guest focused, friendly, team orientated and passionate.
