AddressA very busy centre with a sister Practice East of Perth, this role doesn't come around very often as once your embedded in to our Mead Medical family you won’t want to leave.
Part time approx 4 days a week. Flexibility required.
The Opportunity
This Medical Assistant role will give you an opportunity to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experienced team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients. This role will provide support with reception and administrative duties while providing a superior customer service experience to patients and healthcare practitioners.
- Ensure Clinical areas are adequately stocked and act to replenish stock before depletion;
- Clean and sterilise instruments as required and take measures to ensure instruments are maintained and replaced when no longer in working order;
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided;
- Document all patient care activities;
- Working within our call centre answering phone, booking appointments and managing emails plus any other administrative tasks required;
- Professional and responsive customer service delivery, including liaison with patients, specialists and all other stakeholders;
- Flexible hours
About You!
You are extremely capable, qualified nurse, thoroughly enjoy being busy and have the ability to be one-step ahead of the game at all times. You will also be able to demonstrate;
- Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant, Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting or first year of Bachelor of Nursing completed
- Flexibility with availability
- Best Practice software experience - preferred but not essential
- Strong computer literacy required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to be a quick thinker and be friendly with a positive can-do attitude
- High level of time management and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of workplace culture
