An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Nursing Education team at Portland District Health.
The primary role is to oversee the development, delivery and evaluation of prevocational and postgraduate education programs and employment pathways at Portland District Health. Hours are worked over 3 X 8 hours shifts (MUST work Mondays).
About you:
- Excellent communication (including conflict resolution), interpersonal, written, verbal and ICT skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative, demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude and welcome persona.
- Displays strong leadership and problem-solving ability applying the principles of fairness and equity.
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyse data and prepare reports, submissions, and plans.
- Excellent IT Skills and knowledge proficiency using Microsoft office software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, negotiate and collaborate with networks of key stakeholders to achieve identified objectives.
- Current knowledge of/ willing to increase understanding of contemporary rural and regional medical workforce issues and programs
