Medical Gas Installer

Our Company is a WA owned mechanical services engineering contracting Company, based in Perth with branches in Albany and Geraldton Western Australia. We have been providing services to Perth's commercial and industrial sectors since 1973 and specialize in Health and Institutional works. We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Gas Installer to join our growing team. 

The successful candidate will report to the Medical Gas Manager and will have at least 5 years demonstrated experience as a Medical Gas Installer (we are also look for Refrigeration or plumbing tradesperson wanting to add to their skill set in a niche trade).

The successful applicant will be an integral part of our growing team and contribute to the provision of quality services by being a proactive team member.

The following key skills required but are not limited to:

• Service and maintenance of Medical Gas installations and equipment to AS2896:2021 & AS3551:2012
• Ability to read with a good understanding of Medical Gas drawings.
• Good interpersonal skills and neat appearance.
• Ability to create good customer relations.
• A willingness to learn and obtain new skills.
• An understanding of occupational health and safety systems.

Minimum Qualification requirements:

• 5 years Medical Gas experience (preferably with a trade background)
• Full knowledge and understanding of AS 2896:2021 and AS3551:2012
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment under supervision and autonomously when required
• Intermediate skills in utilising Microsoft office suite of products
• Confined Space an advantage
• Working at Heights
• Strong safety ethics
• Current driver’s license
