About the Position
Eastern Shore Doctors has 3 dedicated surgeries, all of which prioritise providing a personalised and quality healthcare experience to patients. The Bellerive clinic, has 13 dedicated doctors on the team. The operating hours for this clinic are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Eastern Shore Doctors is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join a great and supportive team on a casual basis. Within this role the ability to work across multiple sites is important!
This role is perfect for someone who has excellent communication skills, is able to multitask, happy to work in different locations and is comfortable working in a busy environment.
In this role you will:
- Deliver exceptional patient service at all times
- Participate in practice meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
- Efficiently manage patient data, appointments and follow procedures
- Provide a seamless service to patients whilst ensuring clinic operations, and Doctor workload is effectively managed at all times
- Process patients billings/receipts
- Assist Doctors with day to day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks.
- Function in a highly organised and time-efficient manner at all times.
- Attend housekeeping in the Clinic and prepare morning/afternoon teas for our Doctors

- Previous Medical Reception experience would be an advantage however not essential
- Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
