The position.High Street Family Medical, now located in the QV Tower, are looking for an enthusiastic and confident MedicalReceptionist to fill a permanent part time role in their busy team.
Key responsibilities:- Greet patients and assist them with check-in and process billing.
- Process overseas immigration medicals and keep within KPI's.
- Schedule appointments, and follow-up on appointment reminders.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organised.
- Administrative tasks such as faxing and scanning documents.
- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
To succeed in this position, the successful applicant will possess:
- A warm, friendly, welcoming and confident personality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Ability to deal with pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Be reliable and flexible.
- Be self- motivated, show initiative and have the ability to work with minimal supervision or instruction.
- Competent computer knowledge and experience is essential.
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist is highly desirable.
High Street Family Practice comprises of 6 General Practitioners, 5 office/reception staff, a Registered Nurse and a Dietitian, with Pathology on site.
