About the role:
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join us in our General Practice. This would initially be a casual role, (from 3 days per week) with the view to become PPT in time.
The ability to do a mix of opening (7:30am) and closing (6pm) shifts as well as occasional weekend work would be preferred.
Experience in medical reception is valued but not required. A can-do attitude and the ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure is essential. The right candidate will possess strong inter-personal skills, sound IT knowledge and will be able to work autonomously and as part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, confirm, and invoice appointments.
- Manage patient registrations and updates.
- Handle inquiries in person and over the phone.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in clinician's rooms, reception, and waiting areas.
- Assist with general reception tasks.
Requirements:
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with evidence provided.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Empathetic with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in IT, with experience in Best Practice software is advantageous.
