Canberra Plastic Surgery is a fast paced specialist medical facility providing services by experienced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons Dr Tony Tonks and Dr Philip Rome. Our reputation is built on providing consideration and respect for every patient with recognition of their personal dignity, whilst developing a personalised solution for each individual. Our Surgeons are credentialed to operate locally in Canberra at Barton Private, Calvary Bruce and Calvary John James Hospitals. Our rooms also provide the option for patients to have a procedure undertaken in our on-site Procedure Room. Additionally, we provide a wide range of cosmetic non-surgical treatments performed by our dedicated Aesthetic Nurses. Days required Tuesday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm (previous applicants need not apply)
Qualifications & experience
- Medical Reception & Practice experience
- Experience in Gentu software or similar
- Understand Medicare & Eclipse billing
- Understanding of Work Health & Safety
- Committed to providing only the highest standard of care to our patients, customers and staff
- Resilient with the ability to remain calm during highs and lows
- Able and willing to work with a sense of urgency at times
- Able to prioritise and multi-task effectively
- Has an enthusiastic and positive approach to their work and the team
- Clean and well-groomed personal presentation
Tasks & responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors
- Processing payments
- Scheduling and managing appointments
- Manage surgery lists
- Answer & respond to correspondence & enquiries
- Liaise with Hospitals, Practitioners and Health Funds
- General administrative duties as needed
