The Palmerston GP Super Clinic / Palmerston Medicare Urgent Care Clinic provides access to primary health and urgent care care services to the Palmerston community and we are currently recruiting to our reception team.
The position is full time, rostered across a range of shifts between 8.00 am and 8.30 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 6 pm weekends and public holidays.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients of the Palmerston GP Super Clinic / Palmerston Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.
- Attend to counter enquiries ensuring accurate information and assistance is provided to the clients' satisfaction.
- Attend to telephone enquiries; provide assistance as appropriate and direct callers as required.
- Provide a range of administrative services.
- Understand the needs of clients and communicate with them clearly and concisely, ensuring understanding is provided for all cultures and beliefs.
- Provision of a quality service in an efficient, enthusiastic and responsible manner.
- Deliver excellent customer service in a proficient manner.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Mandatory Requirement:
Working in a health service that interacts with children, it is mandatory that you hold a Northern Territory Working With Children Clearance.
A National Police Criminal History Check is also required as is a current First Aid Certificate.
