Form of workOur client, located in the eastern suburbs in Sydney is looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist.In this role you will be working for 2 days of the week: Thursday and FridayIf you are great at customer service, being highly organised and have a passion for patient care; this job is for you!Tasks and responsibilities
General medical reception and administration duties
Answering phone calls, emails and management of electronic patient files
Managing patient appointments
Greeting, checking-in
Processing patient accounts
Typing letters, scanning and filing
Maintaining general tidiness of the practice
Other administrative duties relevant to day-to-day medical practice operations
The successful candidate will have:Experience working as a medical reception / medical administrator
Knowledge of Medicare processes
Demonstrated attention to detail, reliable and punctual
Proficient in IT systems and software applications
Ability to work under pressure and pick up new processes quickly
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent people skills that relate well to patients, staff and healthcare professionals
Understanding of health and safety policies and procedures
