About the Role
We are in need of a Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. Apart from embodying the values and culture of the Mindsight clinic, we are looking for a well-presented and motivated Medical Receptionist with a can-do attitude. Enjoys a busy environment and can multitask. Is able to handle confidential patient information with discretion. The successful applicant will be working under the direction of a very supportive team, our practice manager and senior Medical Receptionist. Prior experience with Xestro practice management platform or similar, would be an advantage.
A happy disposition, with enthusiasm and initiative will be a great addition to our highly energised team. The successful candidate has ideally had previous experience in psychiatry/mental health terminology, otherwise a keen mind to learn will suffice.
Key responsibilities will include (not limited to):
Meeting, greeting and patient care
Administration of the front desk and phones
Providing assistance to doctors and clinicians as required
Patient invoicing, payments and receipt
Scheduling and diary management
Other reasonable duties as directed
Work days days and hours
2 days a week. Monday and a Friday are a must with some availability for leave cover
Hours would be 9am -5:30pm,
Plus ability to do 8:30am to 5pm, if covering leave.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 year Medical Receptionist experience or similar role.
Excellent computer skills
Desirable - Experience with Xestro Practice Management Software or similar
