Medical Receptionist

Treasury Medical is a GP owned and run medical practice in the centre of Hobart city.

Our aim is to provide the highest standard of patient care; treating illness, and promoting health, well-being and disease prevention to all. To greet patients, answer calls, organise appointments, patient triage and, maintain records to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of Treasury Medical. Must have the ability to work variable hours from 0830-1800.

Responsibilities:

To provide an exceptional standard of care to our patients, in accordance with Treasury Medicals values of fairness, honesty, empathy, and to ensure a safe and respectful workplace. All duties are to be carried out in conjunction with the practice’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Managing confidential patient records
• Processing payments, Medicare, and third-party claims
• General administration and office duties.
• Working as part of a team supporting the Practice Manager
• Undertake quality assurance tasks relating to the collection and retrieval of client and clinical data.
