About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic candidate to provide reception duties to our patients and friendly, supportive staff at Hyde Podiatry. The role also offers an opportunity to be trained as a nail technician to undertake pedicure and manicure services in our beautifully renovated clinical rooms. No current experience is required for this part of the role as training would be provided at TAFE and by our senior podiatrist to ensure you are supported in developing these skills. Pay rate increases under the award for nail technician work would apply relevant to the level of training obtained.
The successful applicant will be required Tues, Wed & Thurs with the potential to increase hours.
Duties include
- Handle face to face and over the phone patient bookings.
- Billing patients and receive payments.
- Operation of practice software Cliniko.
- General administration activities, such as phone calls, emails and document management.
- Product and footwear sales.
- Re-stocking and cleaning of clinical rooms.
- First point of contact to the clinic providing a positive patient experience.
- Perform nail technician pedicures and manicures (with training and supervision).
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous Medical Receptionist experience highly regarded.
- Other reception, administration or retail experience also valued.
- Competent computer skills.
- Strong customer focus and compassion towards patients.
- Positive attitude and people skills.
- Reliable with good work ethic and time management skills.
- Can work methodically when under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Neat, tidy, professional presentation.
- Confident in money handling.
- Be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Enjoys working in a great team.
