Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our Orthopaedic practice in Gosford for 2 days a week. Tuesday availability is an essential requirement so please do not apply if you are not available on Tuesdays. The ability to be flexible with your hours to suit the practice is a definite requirement to cover for staff leave.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Provide high-quality customer service to our patients in a professional manner.

Answering telephone and email inquiries.

Scanning of documents

Scheduling of patient appointments.

Invoicing and receipting for private, Medicare, DVA, and Workcover patients

Typing 

Daily banking and reconciliation

Keeping the consulting rooms and waiting area tidy

Selection criteria:

Medical reception experience – minimum 1 year -  essential and applicants without the necessary experience will not be considered

Ability to work as part of a team

Excellent organisational skills with optimum time management skills.

Meticulous attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Exceptional Customer Service skills. 

Typing speed >60wpm
