Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to be the warm and inviting face of our thriving practice. Your role will not only involve assisting patients to access health services, but also efficient administration support to our medical team.
This exciting opportunity is also open to junior candidates who possess the right attributes and a strong desire to learn.
This position is for a minimum of 3 days per week, however for the right applicant, the position would be flexible - part-time, full-time or casual.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with a warm and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records with accuracy.
- Prioritise and handle administrative tasks efficiently to ensure a smooth patient flow for our medical team.
- Uphold patient and business confidentiality and adhere to stringent practice procedures.
- Provide accurate information about our services and assist with inquiries.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational abilities.
- Ability to collect and maintain accurate health care information and maintain confidentiality.
- Embraces technology and is willing to learn new skills.
- Previous experience in a medical environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
