About the role:
We currently have a vacancy for a Medical Receptionist to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity.
Experience preferred but not necessary
You will be working within a close-knit and supportive team, with a focus on ensuring the smooth daily running of the consulting clinic for surgeons and clinical Optometrists.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Be the first point of call for our patients, the face of the clinic providing a warm welcome.
- Be effective at scheduling and processing of appointments, answering phone enquiries and electronic Medicare billing
- Use the patient management system and other internal interfaces to correctly capture all relevant patient details.
- Be computer literate
- Previous experience in a specialist medical practice an advantage
