We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Medical Receptionist/ Administration to join our friendly team at our specialist Ophthalmology practice in North Brisbane.
Role:
- Administration support including greeting patients, processing payments and generating invoices.
- General medical administrative duties including answering phone calls, email and other enquiries (fax, mail).
- Organisation of patient referrals and coordination of patient bookings including surgery bookings in a timely manner.
- Appointment book management.
- Maintaining electronic patient records including obtaining patient information, scanning patient documents and accurate data entry.
- Corresponding and liaising with patients, Optometrists, GPs, and other specialists.
- Other administrative duties as directed.
About you:
- Previous medical or healthcare reception experience essential
- Excellent verbal communication skills with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Multi-tasker
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Excellent computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
- Great attention to detail
- Available for immediate start
- You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to work in this practice
