The successful candidate will need to have:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Senior Medical Receptionist
- Practice opening times 7.30 am to 7.00 pm, and Saturday morning clinic for 3.5 Hours.
- Current CPR
The following desirable characteristics will also be assessed at interview:
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Private Billings
- Billings through Tyro machines
- Experience working as a Senior Medical Receptionist
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Experience in Best Practice patient management software
- The ability to work well within a small team environment and cooperate within a shared position with another Medical Receptionist
- Excellent patient communication either at reception or telephone
- Experience in quality improvement and the RACGP standards
- Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality
