Overview
The Exercise Medicine Research Institute houses an innovative, multidisciplinary and productive research team, dedicated to investigating the extent to which exercise can be employed in chronic disease management to materially improve patient outcomes. The Vario Health Clinic is the commercial arm of the Institute and provides research-informed, best practice Allied Health services and programs to the public. This front-line position will be responsible for a broad range of administrative functions including but not limited to managing the client booking system for Vario Health Clinic services and undertaking special projects to support the institute and research centre staff.
Selection Criteria
- Experience in Allied Health / medical reception duties
- Flexibility to undertake additional work hours on an occasional basis
- Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining systems & procedures and maximising client booking system productivity
- Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including Prac Suite / Front Desk, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Pro
- Excellent Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good working relationships alongside the provision of excellent customer care and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes
- Experience in the preparation of business reports & statistics
- Proactive in identifying and actioning growth opportunities

Benefits & Remuneration
This position attracts remuneration of $71,918 to $76,598 per annum (Pro Rata) plus 17% superannuation.
