To thrive in this role, you'll ideally have/be:
- Essential Experience: Previous medical reception experience is a must.
- Medicare Master: A solid understanding of the Medicare system is key.
- Software Savvy: Experience with practice management software like Halaxy is essential (training provided for further refinement).
- Warm and Welcoming: A friendly and approachable personality is essential.
- Organisational Whiz: You'll keep appointments flowing smoothly and manage patient information effectively.
- Strong Communication Skills: You can interact personably and professionally with patients and colleagues.
Role Description
In this on-site role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, managing receptionist duties, triaging, and assisting the clinical team.
