Canning Medical Centre is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The position is part-time or casual with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave.

Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointments
- Answer and respond to telephone enquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Accurately process patient payments via cash, eftpos, and direct bill transactions
- Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records
- Support the day-to-day operations of the medical centre
Essentials:
- Admin experience in a General Practice, Allied Health or Specialist Medical environment
- The role is patient-focused and requires excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail when managing documentation, booking appointments and filing.
- We utilise a range of medical software which requires strong computer skills.
- You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team; we are looking for a team player with the ability to multitask.
- A positive and can-do attitude.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience using Best Practice software.
- Retail experience an advantage.

Canning Medical Centre has been established in Fremantle for over 50 years! Our practice has recently undergone renovations internally and externally, offering a state-of-the-art medical practice with all the bells and whistles.
