SalaryFlex Physiotherapy is a vibrant private practice based in Murdoch, with a city-wide reputation for excellence in treating upper limb injuries and problems. We are seeking a friendly, experienced medical / physio receptionist on a part time basis, job-sharing with our current part time receptionist. Usual hours will be all day Monday and Friday, plus Tues/Thurs afternoons (approx. 30hrs/week). Ideally, we need someone with the capacity to work full time hours on occasion to provide annual/sick leave cover.
This role would suit an experienced receptionist wanting to step back from full time work; or an enthusiastic younger receptionist with the flexibility to step up into full time hours several weeks a year to cover staff leave.
Remuneration will be on an hourly basis, and in accordance with industry standards. Applications close Friday 1/3/24.
Responsibilities:- Primary contact point, both in person and on the phone
- Managing appointment diary for our physiotherapists
- Updating and maintaining patient records
- Processing EFTPOS and cash payments
- Maintaining stock/supply levels
- Other general administrative and practice duties
- Cheerful, friendly manner in person and on the phone
- Capacity to work in a systematic, organised manner
- Familiarity with PracSuite practice management software (or similar)
- Capacity to prioritise and manage several simultaneous demands
- Intermediate computer skills, especially Excel, Word
- Prefer >2 years experience working in healthcare settings, including familiarity with medical terminology
