A role with unique responsibilities
Medical Typists have a very important role at Sydney Ultrasound for Women. Collaboratively, the team provides high quality report writing and information management. With exceptional attention to detail, underpinned by a professional and efficient nature, you will directly enhance the patient and internal/external stakeholder experience. Under guidance from the Senior Medical Typist, your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring timely and accurate patient documentation is produced
- Providing an exceptional caring premium service to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure SUFW doctors, patients and referrers are provided with exceptional quality service, reports and documentation
- Responding to doctor/patient report requests within appropriate time frames
- Working cohesively and being an engaged member of the multi-disciplinary SUFW workforce
- Compliance of clinical and corporate governance including compliance in privacy legislation.
Are you the ideal candidate for us?
Our Medical Typists will work together to complete all reports with timely and considered communication. Ideally you will bring the following:
- Demonstrable experience in medical specialty typing or medical reception
- A critical eye for detail
- A track record of delivering caring and compassionate customer service
- Sound knowledge of clinical and/or gynaecological/obstetric services
- A focus on timely outcomes and exceptional organisational skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and typing speed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently under pressure
- A willingness to fit in and embrace the Monash IVF Group Principles
